Mummy, don't worry, we'll find it.
Mummy, don't worry, it's ok.
Mummy, are you ok?
Mummy, my tummy hungry for ice cream?
Mummy, let's go shopping mai school.
I am not sure where my girl pick up all these phrases. Neverthe less the first 3 phrases made me feel so good.
I am in the midst of setting up the Big loader when I asked her to help me find one piece of the track and she replied "Mummy don't worry, we'll find it" and start searching the piece for me. It's so good and reassuring. My little girl has grown so much suddenly.

Nicole can read
To our surprise, Nicole manage to follow her papa and read 2 complete pages of Beauty and the Beast. She can follow every single word after her papa. She usually takes a book and sit down on our lap and ask us to read to her. Today however, she read after her papa and she can pronounce all the words.
In terms of speech, Nicole has developed much faster than Natalie. Nat's pronunciation is still not clear but at least it has improved a great deal since we start trying to engage her more often. Tomorrow, we are going to start Nat's phonics lessons and hopefully she will gain from it. After stopping for dunno how many lessons, both of them are going to resume their Tumbletots lesson. Hmmm ... wondering if they are still keen ...

Nicole & her dino
Nicole has a thing for dinosaurs.I got her a minature dino book today and she has been holding on to it since. Every since page she turn she would say "Dinosaur". It's so adorable, cos on the pages are the various names of each dinosaur but she will just say dinosaur even after we tried teaching her. So she will goes "Dinosaur" for the entire book.
Her interest in dino is spark off by her jie jie who has been reading the Dino encyclopaedia that we have at home. Every Friday, when they come home, without fail they will rush to pull out the dino book and look at the dino pictures. There is a particular page which shows a family of dinosaur. Natalie will go "Mummy dinosauar, papa dinosaur and baby dinosaur" ... Now that Natalie has diverted her interest to something else, Nicole continues to cling on to her passion for dino.
She is really into dino that she will drop whatever she is holding just to get her hands on dino. It happened at Sheng Siong the other day, when she saw a packet of dino figurines, she dropped her tibits and a toy to grabbed the dino. There is no way we can take it away from her. Even when we want to pay for it. She refused to let go, the cashier has to snatch for her and she screamed and cried. At home, knowing that Natalie will probably snatch the dino from her, she choose to play with the Dino in the room while her jie jie is in the living room. When her jie jie goes into the room, she will grabbed all the dino and move else where. Hmmm she is only 2.

Back from Genting
Goodbye Genting ... Hello Singapore
First time I want to do will be to hug my girls. The journey back is so delayed by the heavy traffic. If we were to reach Singapore earlier, I will definitely visit my girls, but we only reach at 10:00 pm. And I have not been sleeping well for the past 2 days. More importantly I have to work the next day. Zzzz ...

Giddy Giddy
My flu has caused the balance center in my ear to go hay-wire, it started on sundae when i felt my world spinning in the bathroom. I sat on the bathroom floor for a long while before i dare to stand up and get help. Since then i have been feeling giddy, nauseous, it's really horrible. I am starting to suspect there is something seriously wrong with me.
Papa don't you worry, I am going to be just fine

First Day of School - I don't want to go to school
I don't want to go to school, do you understand? That's exactly what Nat told me when we are preparing her for school. I am dumbfounded ...
This is not a choice for her, she has to go to school. For me is to figure out why she don't like to go to school and how to make her enjoy her school more.
Hmmmm ....

Shoo Shoo ... bad flu bug
It started with Natalie passed on to Nicole. And then mummy, por por and auntie got it ... then it passed on to papa and yi-yi ... We have yet to recover fully before the next person get it ... shoo shoo bad bug ... shoo shoo ... so that we can celebrate Father's day with papa and gong gong.
Everyone is down with flu, so bad that we have to postpone celebrating Father's Day. Poor papa and gong gong will have to wait. We have actually make reservation at a dim sum restaurant. But with all of us sick, except gong gong, how to go out and celebrate.

Mummy's moments

This picture is from Kelyn's blog. Thanks Kelyn yi-yi from capturing this very speacial moment.
Seen here is Lil' Nat holding on to her mei mei so as to prevent mei mei from touching mummi's birthday cake. She seems to have grow up so much more this holiday. She now holds her mei mei while we go shopping. It really warms my heart to see my lil girl taking charge of her younger sister.
