Lesser Time Together Nowadays

We are home more often nowadays. Lesser are the gatherings which usually pack our weekends cos of the many things happening around us. People are busier with their lives, some tired from their work, some have their health reasons while some just couldnt be bothered.
For us it's the children.
Nathan received his jab and had his assessment done last sat. Like a cry baby he cried, even before the needle was in sight. A far cry from his menacing look at home.

But then both his sisters were there to cheer him on. Quite a interesting sight.
We still find time for some Cake baking on Saturday afternoon and that put a close to the day.
Somehow Nathan didnt react quite too well to the jab.

Today was a little more stressful cos its the P1 registration for Natalie and also graduation photo taking day.

Our girls are growing up, and like it or not we are growing old, my dear. Just as I was talking about it not too long about carrying them, I sprain my hand carrying little Natalie on Sunday.
Speaking of carrying our children, "turtle dun laugh at tortoise". Well Mummy Lynn certainly has her field day carrying Nathan around for these past 3 days. No wonder my MIL is complaining that she is spoiling the market for them.
In any case, the slew of photos is for all "yi-yi"s and all qiu gong and qiu po who have not been popping by recently. The gals have grown (Natalie 1.2m and Nicole 1.0m) and so have nathan close to 10kg liao (65 cm).

Daddy's new toy

After pondering for sometime we finally got our new camera. It is a entry level DSLR. It is a very basic model and we get an additional lens to achieve the professional effect. With this camera, we will want to capture as many pictures of our kids as possible.

So look out for more pictures to come.

PS: after just one week, this camera has been tucked into 1 corner of daddy's cupboard

Nicole ballet upate

It has been almost half a year since she started taking ballet lesson. She loves her lessons and stickers that she got from her teacher. But after so long, it seems that her teacher only taught her bend and stretch and diamond stretch. I am pondering if I should let her continue with her lesson.

Natalie got bully in school

My poor girl is been bullied in school and yet she is siding her friends.

Yesterday, Natalie told Daddy that her classmates poked her with pencils in class. She told her teacher and was told not to care about them. But it should just end with that statement. Her wrist has slight blue black and her arm has quite a few cuts. We will have to find out more.

My Little Princess ... Nicole!

Yeah, the often neglected one but also the more independent one.
Always bullied by Natalie, always told to give way. But happy she is for the attention her Daddy gives.
The smile tells it all ... the running to you when you are home after a ridiculous day at work somehow melts your frustrations away. Yes, my dear Nicole ... the princess of the 3.

Resort World Sentosa once again

This is the second time we stayed in Festive Hotel. The first time is during the Labour Day weekend, our girls has so much fun that they kept asking us to bring them back to HOTEL.

For the entire holiday, Natalie especially is bugging us to bring her to hotel. She loves the swimming pool at Hard Rock Hotel and can't wait to build a sand mountain. She loves running through the mist at Universal Studio. Nicole on the other hand, loves to play the sand but doesn't want to get wet. Daddy has to work on some weekend during the school holidays and with many events lined up, finding a weekend that we can go RWS is difficult.

Natalie complained to her Q-Por and ta-da a room booked for us. So we have to go even if Daddy is going to work on the sunday. The girls can't wait to get to the hotel and has been counting since the day they were told we are going to hotel soon.

I brought Nathan to the podium where Daddy is watching a World Cup match so that the girls can sleep. He is so excited when he see so many people around him but when they cheered loudly, he looked totally shocked. And amazingly he fell asleep amongst the noise in meer 15 minutes that we are there.

Daddy had to leave for work on Sunday morning, and it was raining heavily, however the girls are contended to stay in the room and watch Cartoon Network.

Great time at the pool with their new buckets, spades and watering can

Lost Times and Cherished Moments

Went to fetch Nicole from her Ballet Class on Wednesday. While going home, I carried her down the stairs. Only to invite the comment from her mum, she can walk so why carry her.

My response and thoughts are simple. While I still can carry her, I would want to. To cherish the every moment I have with the child cos when she grows up, I would either be too old or she too heavy for me to do so.

Simple moments and simple things often go unnoticed and only to be remembered and yearned for when its too late. Today is my wife's birthday ... Hapi Birthday to Mummy Lynn.

Moments to cherish today and memories to remember in time to come. Little Nathan growing up, 9 kg alreadi as per Mummy's estimate. Another moment to remember cos when he is like Natalie at 27 kg, carrying him would definitely be a problem.

Hahaha .... Natalie is still running a fever, Nicole is throwing tantrums and Nathan is sleeping. While I am writing this, Mummy Lynn is correcting my language. Hmm, a moment captured in time.
