Nicole's 6th Birthday Celebration

Our dear princess is 6!

Last Thursday, we had a celebration for her in her school follow by a stay-cation at RWS - Beach Villa.

This year I attempted to make a birthday cake for her.  It is something that I wanted to do for the longest time. She told me she prefer a "My little pony" cake. I cracked my head on how to create a "My Little Pony" cake but ended up with a simple pink cake with 30 pink cupcakes. I litterally baked through the night to come up with the cake and cupcakes. It's only with Daddy's rescue that we managed to put up a decent cake for our dear princess.

 priceless smile

After her school, we head off to RWS for more celebration. The buggy ride to villa had the children going "Wow Wow Wow". More wows when they reach the villa. The villa make us feel that we are out of Singapore, away from the tall buildings. The only tall structure that we see from our villa, is the cable car tower.

Our private jacuzzi and access to the pool 24/7

Daddy, Michelle, LiHong and I swam through the night. So refreshing

Nathan who usually stay away from the water, also can't wait to wade into the pool. The girls want to learn as they have access to the whole pool. We had such a good time that we decide to extend our stay for another day. The rate is a whopping $1200.00. Though we are willing to pay the rate, the villas are fully book and we shifted to Hotel Micheal for another day.

Nathan's curls

Like Michelle yee-yee, I miss Nathan's curl. Given a choice, I will like him keep his curls. Though his hair is growing back now, it doesn't seems to be able to achieve the "Gu Jun Pyo" style. In fact, it looks more like his papa's hairstyle.

Here are some of the Nathan's curl photos posted by Michelle yee-yee.

Nathan's new hat

Nathan with his new hat. Vincent managed to capture him with his hat. This is one of the rare moments he wears his hat.

I bought this hat because he did not want to put it down in the shop. He happily roam around the shop with this hat. However the moment I paid for the hat, he doesn't even want it on his head. He will push the hat off if we try to put it on for him.

Girls day out

Look at these 2 cheeky girls. Look closely and you will see "kakiage fangs" in their mouths.

Nicole can come up with the funniest expression and is usually making funny poses in front of the camera. Recently she made a series of video of herself which I yet to have time to edit and post on our blog.

Natalie is getting more expressive, she now shares more about things happening around her. Poor girl, she hardly have time for play these days, she has been loaded with tons and tons of homework, tests, spellings.

Natalie's school's Fiesta 2010

Over the weekend, we were at Natalie's school for her school fund raising event. The girls have a ball of time playing games, taking rides, putting out fire and trying to dunk a teacher into water.

Nicole ballet - photo taking

After her ballet performance in December, Nicole will stop her ballet lesson. She has been complaining that she is tired traveling to and fro on Wednesdays  and Thursdays for lessons. She wants to be like her jie-jie who has do not need to travel for her lessons. So we have decided to stop her ballet lesson.

Lately her interests in ballet is rekindle and she want to continue her lesson, probably because of the preparation for the concert and the costume. We have already opt her out of the exams and now she is pestering us to let her continue her lesson.

Nice pose

There is a new playground in CCK park. It is a huge structure which is at least 2 storey high and yet the girls are no afraid and climb all the way to the highest slide. Nathan on the other, prefer to stay on the ground.

Lightning McQueen for Nathan?

Boys are boys. Nathan loves cars and his choo-choo. He calls my iphone - Choo Choo because it is where he watches Train cartoon or Cars Trailer on you-tube. He and his papa shares the same love for Cars - soundtrack - "Real Gone" as well as "Life is a highway".

Over the school holiday weekend, we were at Toy R Us and he tried out the Lightning McQueen ride-on. We did not buy it then as we are staying at Hotel Michael that weekend. And Nathan is distracted, there are so many Cars 2 related toys that he can't decided. In the end, we got him Imaginext Exclusive Mack Hauler Lightning McQueen.

Now I am contemplating if I should go back to Toy R us to get the ride-on for him or just let him continue to make do with his sisters' princess ride-on.

Please mommy, pretty pretty please!

Here's Nicole in front of our beloved fridge.

My little girl can say things like " Please Mommy. Pretty Pretty Please" together with her most beautiful smile. She probably learn this from her Emo-Nemo yee-yee. Anyway, it is hard to say NO to her.

She showers everyone will lotsa and lotsa of Love, she will hug me the moment I step into the house and say I miss you and I love you. She hugs and kisses her sister and brother whenever she feel like it.
