Post Birthday Celebration - Explorer Kids again

Natalie has always been asking to visit the giant slide again and again. But Pasir Ris is simply too far away for us to visit often. But for her birthday, we specially took leave to bring her there. She is jumping with joy the moment she saw the building. She just can't wait to start.

Lately she doesn't like to take cab, she wants to take bus / train. As she remembered cab always bring her back to grandma's house, while train / bus takes her shopping. My chubby girl has her mummi's trait, we love to shop!

Happy Birthday Papi & Mama's cutie

Our girl is 4!

It's only not too long ago that we celebrated her 3rd birthday where she don't enjoy all the attention on her that she cried. This year is totally different. Our girl loves the attention and even put her hand to her ear to hear if everyone is singing her birthday song.

There were at least 5 camera clicking away, hence it is more like a press conference and hence we ended up with pictures that each one looking at different camera.

Galilee 25th Concert

I believe all mummies will be extremely proud to see their children performing on stage. I am one proud mummi during last Saturday, during our girls' school concert.

Even though Nicole is a year younger than the rest of the pre-nursery children, she got to take part in this year's concert as well. During the rehersal, she is doing fine. She even practiced at home. However on the actual day, the moment, my helper left her on the stage she started crying, really loudly. The teachers have no choice but to bring her off the stage. There are mummies laughting at Nicole. Nontheless, i know my girl tried and I am still proud of her.

Natalie was searching for us the moment she stepped onto the stage. She looks so adorable and round in her costume. She found us and waved and show her thumb up to us. She even reminded her classmates to put down / lift up the signs that they are holding. Given her character, i will say she has done extremely well. And mummy is so proud of her.

Malacca

Over the long weekend, we were at Malacca together with my extended family. We were there basically to shop. During hubby's last trip to Malacca, he tried some very nice food and he is determine to bring us to try them. And there we were at Malacca! We tried Cendol, Carnation milk crab, kong ba bao, chicken rice balls. Yum Yum the food is definitely worth the trip there.
Hubby has not been into shopping ever since we got married. He would rather stay in the hotel room with the girls or his PSP. There isn't much shopping for me on this trip. I had like only 2.5 hours to shop. So basically we only eat and stay in the hotel room for this trip. However the girls had great fun in the hotel. As we had adjoining room, they had 2 rooms to play with. They ran around, played with the bathroom blind, hid wardrobe and pretend play with the safe, and watched plenty of cartoon.

Heroic Rendezvous

Aren't this cute. They seems to look like our girls.
This picture makes me want to draw.

Moments from Kelyn & Mavis's Blog

Their yi-yis have been taking quite a bit of the girls' photos and posting on their blogs. Lately I have not been taking their pictures and hence "kop" some from their yi-yis' blogs.

Mummy tries to bake

Kelyn & Brandon are coming to our place to celebrate their birthdays. Instead of getting a cake for them, i wanted to try baking cuppies for them.

Hubby is telling me that I should not try on someone's birthday celebration, what if it doesn't turn out right? I was thinking the worst case scenario would be to rush out to get a cake.

Anyhow, i tried and with some help whipping out the icing. The cuppies turn out okie. They tasted nice and more importantly the cuppies are especially made for my dear cousins and they are happy!
While Nicole is busy entertaining our guests, Natalie help me to put on the rainbow rice and flower. She is good at it. I shall bake more often with my girls.

Sharing

Natalie's definitation of sharing it let Nicole touch the item and then ask it back. Nevertheless she allows her mei-mei to touch. And when asked to she will let her mei-mei play or eat the thing. Sometimes she is will get something else to divert her mei-mei's attention.
When we are shopping she won't forget to get an item for her mei-mei. For instance, on her weekly visit to 7-11, she will pick up 2 Hello Panda and says 1 for Natalie and 1 for mei-mei. Without fail she will definitely get something for Nicole whenever anyone want to buy her something. I'm glad that she is taking care of her mei-mei.
Nicole on the other hand defines sharing as giving to her jie-jie. It may be since young she has been giving in to her jie-jie. Lately she starts to aware that she has to fight for her rights too thus she sometimes resist in giving in. But there are times that she is more than happy to give in to her jie-jie. She must love her jie-jie to bits.

Our 2nd Zoo trip

This is our 2nd trip to the zoo and I must say we covered so much more than on our 1st trip which is daddy's company's family day.

Arrggghhh, the weather isn't good today. It rained the moment we stepped on the zoo's ground. We took refudge in KFC, having our lunch while waiting for the rain to stop. The rain never really stopped. It rained intermittenly and make walking around the zoo difficult. We have to get poncho to get around. Natalie doesn't want the poncho went around with her hat and umbrella.

Because of the rain, we are unable to watch the Sealion, Manatee and penguin show. Natalie is all excited about penguins, and it is something that I remembered waiting when I was at the zoo when I was a little girl. Lucky we managed to catch the zoo's latest show before the rain starts again. The girls are excited to see the primates and birds climbing / flying above their heads.

Most of the time we are going around on the tram, I lost count the number of times that we went around the zoo. The first round, the girls are excited to see the lions, kangaroo, zebra and giraffes. From the 2nd round, it is more about the tram ride than the animals. Highlight of the day is when Natalie saw 2 bats hanging on top of her while we changed her. She is so frightened and can't wait to jump off.

Daddy mentioned that it is so cumbersome to take the camera in and out with is poncho on, so there isn't many pictures for this trip.
