Moment of Pride

It was a usual Saturday. Waking up early to start off the day .... dun ask why I need to wake up at 6 on a Saturday morning. I also wonder sometimes.

Little then I know this particular saturday is going to be different. Cos the little one was awake when I was done with my slow shower.

Showing that cheeky look of his, 2 words emerged from the little one, 2 words that somehow stood out in the silence of the morning (er, not too quite cos of the snoring in the background) were ....... Dar Di.

Haha ... the little one calling out to me. Somehow I have got to interrupt the background snoring so as to also have my wife share in this little moment of pride. My son just called his father.

My lovelies

Picture taken by Kelyn yee-yee

Natalie is very protective of Nicole and Nathan. She will stand up against anyone who scold or want to beat Nicole or Nathan. She is also the only one that can bully Nicole. She like to call Nicole the "Evil" and make her sister upset.

Nicole adores her elder sister. She would want to follow whatever Natalie is doing. She can sit quietly beside Natalie when she is playing computer games never once fighting over the computer with her. However, Nicole is prone to complaining about Natalie to the adults. She once told Li Hong that she is happy when Daddy scolds Jie-Jie.

Both sisters, especially Natalie adores that baby brother. They will try means and ways to make Nathan laugh - be it jumping up and down with him or dancing to Wonder Girls - Nobody. They are so happy to see him laugh and will laugh together with him.

At the end of the day, I am glad they love and protect each other.

Lesser Time Together Nowadays

We are home more often nowadays. Lesser are the gatherings which usually pack our weekends cos of the many things happening around us. People are busier with their lives, some tired from their work, some have their health reasons while some just couldnt be bothered.
For us it's the children.
Nathan received his jab and had his assessment done last sat. Like a cry baby he cried, even before the needle was in sight. A far cry from his menacing look at home.

But then both his sisters were there to cheer him on. Quite a interesting sight.
We still find time for some Cake baking on Saturday afternoon and that put a close to the day.
Somehow Nathan didnt react quite too well to the jab.

Today was a little more stressful cos its the P1 registration for Natalie and also graduation photo taking day.

Our girls are growing up, and like it or not we are growing old, my dear. Just as I was talking about it not too long about carrying them, I sprain my hand carrying little Natalie on Sunday.
Speaking of carrying our children, "turtle dun laugh at tortoise". Well Mummy Lynn certainly has her field day carrying Nathan around for these past 3 days. No wonder my MIL is complaining that she is spoiling the market for them.
In any case, the slew of photos is for all "yi-yi"s and all qiu gong and qiu po who have not been popping by recently. The gals have grown (Natalie 1.2m and Nicole 1.0m) and so have nathan close to 10kg liao (65 cm).
