Little one and his Daddy

Hmmm little one is getting more active these days and loves to play with his Daddy. Just before I can sleep he will try to engage his Daddy by giving me a big kick so that his Daddy notice and start talking to him.

Yesterday, Daddy is asking him which name he prefer and ask him to kick if he like the name. He likes Lucas, Ethan and Nathan. He responded to all the 3 names. Daddy is especially proud when little one respond to Lucas. I am not sure why Lucas, which I do not really fancy. We shall test again ...

Natalie is down with food poisoning

Friday evening, Daddy came home with the soft drink and crackers from 7-11, that make the girls so happy. Natalie took bulk of the crackers and before you know it at 12 midnight she started throwing out. She threw up a couple of times during the night. She literally soiled all the mattress and bedsheet. She was so apolgetic that each time she vomit she will say "sorry, so sorry". She did not sleep through the night. In the morning, she start having diarrhoea. We went to the GP the moment the clinic open.

She was so frail for the next few days that she would just lie down on the mattress and watch TV. She doesn't even dare to eat much for the worry that she might throw up. Though the situation seems to have improve, she continue to throw up and diarrhoea until Sunday. We then brought her to KKH. The wait is horrible, there are so many sick children and even newborn. Natalie try to make the situation better by telling us that she is fine. She is a happy girl amongst the cranky kids.

Luckily she doesn't have to be admitted. She is given medicine and medical leave for the next few day and we went home. Just before we go home, she requested for Milo which I gave her. And she threw up in the taxi. The taxi is totally dirtied. Daddy and Natalie keep saying sorry to the taxi driver. We even wanted to compensate him for the mess but he refused. Daddy is so angry with me for giving her the Milo.

Presents from Kenneth

Nicole went straight to the white bear. Natalie has no preference.
Their dear jiu jiu purposely made a trip to our home just to give the girls the bears as well as elmo bookmarks. In the end they are more interested in the bookmarks than the bear. Anyway thanks! jiu jiu

Kids Amaze at Boon Lay SAFRA

For some time I have been waiting to bring the girls to try out the new playground at Boon Lay SAFRA. It is one of the largest playgrounds in Singapore equipped with a three-storey vertical maze. I am thinking at least we do not have to travel all the way to Pasir Ris for the girls to have fun at indoor playgrounds.

Been pregnant has some privileges, I am exempted for following the girls through the maze and spare of the 3 storey high slide. Daddy and Li Hong have a tough time following the girls around. Especially for Li Hong who has to ride the slides with Natalie and get her head spinning. She ended up with a bruised leg while Natalie lose a big patch of skin on her elbow as both of them came down the longest slide. Ouch!

Both girls had a great time though Natalie has a big boo-boo that she insisted that Daddy bandage for her the moment we got home. And when I asked her if she want to go to there again, she said yes. Probably the adults are the ones who would probably prefer another place.

My little bump

I am at my 26 weeks and my little bump is getting more prominent, so much so that people on the train start noticing that I am preggy and offer me seat. I am thankful for those who offer their seats to me. I have a amazing effect on people, usually those on the Priority seat. They usually "fall" asleep the moment i step onto the train. Very seldom would an youngster offer their seats. But yesterday, there is a family with 2 young girls, the girls offer their seats to me. And their parent apolgise that they did not do so earlier. It shows how good the upbringing the girls have.

I have put on a fair bit of weight which make walking and standing a chore. I can't shop as much as I do. Thinking that with the arrival of baby, there is going to be mininal chance that I can go shopping lugging the 3 kids and now I can't shop as much now makes me so sad. Hmmm there goes my shopping days.

I am diagnose with gestational diabetes. For this pregnancy, I always have craving for sweet stuff esp macarons. May be I have a macaron too many and now I can't have any. With mooncake festival round the corner, I would have no choice to give up on my fave mooncakes. Do not tell me about the less sugar version, I would rather go without it.

Daddy has been trying to do the name test on little baby. But he does not respond to any of the names as yet. So we have not decided on his name. I am hoping that he will respond to the name i chose.
