Nicole. The beautiful one.

While we fuss over the needs of the little one, worry over the growing concerns of the elder one, somehow someone gets to be far away from the limelight.

Then again she survives by creating a world of her own, playing with herself, letting her imaginative world fill the voids of Daddy and Mummy at times. Well she has her auntie but then I always make sure that she is not out of my span of attention, then again a depleting attention given the load at work.

Just have to look at her face when she is alone with me and mummy to understand how much she longs for us. Not asking for food like her sister, attention like the brother, all she needs is for you to look at her, play with her and it would mean the whole world to her.

My little princess, the often missed out one but then the child who could end up be the one among the three to know, understand and take a different perspective of things just because of the independent childhood she goes through.

Time also to switch attention to her as she is getting older. Needs no less than the sister. More work for us? Thats definite. But then we would get to enjoy it nonetheless.
