Dinner at Oscars

Just had dinner at Conrad's Oscars. Surprisingly the dinner is good. After trying their breakfast buffet a couple of times while i stay there, I have decided that's not a place to go for food. In contrast, the dinner is great, in fact I prefer it to the buffet at the Melt.

The food are cooked in small portion so it is still hot even in the serving pots. Yummy we created our very own crayfish / lobster and prawn laksa. It is really nice. Their oyster is fresh. There is also bak ku teh, tom yam soup and a selection of cheese. However, I am not a cheese person, hence it doesn't make a difference to me. Their potatoes cooked in lyon-style is so simple and yet is taste so nice. The list can go on ... conclusion it is a place for food if not for the hefty price tag. At $66.00 per person, how often can we dine there?
